Binky Crafts was started by Tony & Nina who moved to Gozo from the UK. The name Binky was actually the nickname of Nina's father, Brian, given to him by his work mates.  After retiring Binky / Brian moved to Gozo and a couple of years later Tony & Nina planned to follow to open a craft business. A name was needed that would be easy to remember and Binky Crafts was quickly chosen, with Binky’s permission of course. Very sadly, Brian passed away in May 2005 before the business was opened in 2006 which made the choice of name even more important and by complete coincidence his name can be seen in the logo.

In May 2011 the business was bought by Louise who continues to keep the Binky name.
